Good News

My bracelet has turned up and I am so happy I want to shout the news from the top of a very tall building.
I have a busy weekend of scrapping ahead of me using ScrapaGoGo's March Turn It Up kit, which is like a non stop party in a box.

Oh my

where has the week gone?|
Did you see the new look that ScrapaGoGo now has? It's all very fresh and funky and right now, you need to have a look. To celebrate their makeover ScrapaGoGo are giving away some prizes, leave a comment on the blog if you want to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
I was gonna take a photo of the shocking state of my craft room, but then I remembered I did in actual fact have a little tidy up so it's not that impressive. I think I did a LO about being a messy scrapper and if I get time I'll dig it out and share.
In good news the headache has gone but the bad news, still no sign of the bracelet. I'm still hold out a little hope but it's fading.

I think

I must have tucked it somewhere safe but for the life of me can't think where. What you ask, only my Tiffany bracelet that I brought whilst in LA, the Rodeo Drive store if we're gonna name drop and no we didn't really need such large bags they just looked good.

Normally I'd let the matter just mull around my head and eventually I'd have a light bulb moment or I'd stumble across whatever I was looking for. The difference this time is I have an idea for a LO so want to find it now but it hasn't happened yet and I've been looking on and off for the last couple of days.
What I would like to lose my flaming headache.
Looks like I'm doomed on both counts.

Two posts

in one day almost unheard of from me!
I love Wyverstone crop, have done ever since I started going back in 2005 I think. I'm not sure what it is about the crop because it's not just that you get 12 hours plus dedicated scrapping time or that everyone gets amble table space. The tea, coffee & hot chocolate are very nice as is the light lunch that's included in the £10 crop fee but Wyverstone crop just has the 'X' factor that I haven't found at any other crop.
Well today I had the best time ever, thanks girls you're the best.
I haven't laughed so much in weeks and it was the perfect tonic to the stress I put myself under by leaving things to the last minute. Plus the sun shone and we had chips with our lunch.
As a bonus I got a LO finished.
I'm a happy girl.

It might not

be the last Saturday of the month but it's Wyverstone crop today, why else would I be up at this time on a very cold and frosty Saturday morning?
Jon and the hounds have braved the cold for a good long walk, it's what Jon does at the weekend. They're alway pretty keen to get going so not the greatest of shot but record for posterity.

Sorry

no time for blogging this last couple of days.
I have deadlines looming very large and after much hassle have finally got my editing software sorted, printer printing so that this scrapper and get on scrap.
Whilst sorting photos came across this photo from Hannah's school prom last year.  The flourish border is Snap Shot Flourishes by Rhonna Farrer.

It was a case of

thumbs meets knife and the thumb came off worse. Not a scrapbooking injury but a case of being a little too hasty when preparing a hot cross bun.
By the way after a little first aid on my thumb I was able to enjoy the hot cross bun, it was very taste.
Finally after eight long days I found my creativity, so had a productive day in my craft room. Now if I could just have some decent lighting I could tie up some projects that have deadlines looming.

'Whilst the cat's away

the mice shall play' so the saying goes. So whilst the house was empty I plugged my ipod into a docking station and blasted the music out as LOUD as the little docking station could handle. Of course I couldn't resist singing alone (most probably out of tune) to my hearts desire plus there was most definitely a little bit of 'mum dancing'.

Who needs

to be told that we should buy this and that in order to prove that we love someone or indeed that someone loves us? All it does is tick me off, I never did like being told what to do!
I'd far rather know by the things he say and does that the Him in the Her, Him, Me and a Little Scrapbooking loves me.
OK mini rant over.

Love this photo taken by Feel Good Photos of Him & Me

What I should

be doing is getting on with some scrapbooking, I have LOs and classes to design with deadlines looming but I've turned into a little book worm.

All very strange as the last thing I'd call myself is a book worm. I spotted Dead Simple by Peter James on my sister's bookshelf and when I asked her about she described it as "a whodunnit with enough twists, turns and suspenseful bits to keep the pages turning" and now I can't put the book down.

I miss this

very special lady.

Some people only know her as Suzanne but to me she's always been Suzie, an amazing lady who I've been lucky enough to call my best friend for nearly seventeen years. We've laughed together, cried together and enjoyed several joint family holidays together that were wonderful. I do regret that maybe I wasn't there enough for her, as she's faced some really tough times this last couple of years and for that I'm sorry Suzie. Love ya.

Sometimes the daily quote

from Values.com aka The Foundation for a Better Life are obscure and I don't get at all and other days you get quotes like this

“The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.”
—Bertrand Russell
(1872-1970); Philosopher, Mathematician
which I so get.

Remember

my super tidy craft room well it's on short notice to be a disaster area. Yep I have a whole day of indulgent scrapping planned for tomorrow interrupted only by a spot of tea and maybe cake with my dear Karen.
I might even share a photo of the disaster area, well it only seems fair!

Somedays

just don't turn out like you thought they were gonna, well today was one of those days for me.
On a positive note I did manage to keep my cool whilst speaking to the tax people and resolve my issues and my craft room still looks super tidy.

After all the hassle

I had printing out a photograph that wasn't completely pants I'm pretty please with how my LO using February's mini kit turned out, there are full instructions for creating it here.

This weekend once I started I found I was on a bit of a creative roll, sorry nothing I can share at the moment as I have been creating with the rather lush March ScrapaGoGo kit, here's a little peek for now but for the full kit images as you'll have to wait until 12th.

I'm missing

the warm sunny days of California as well as many other things too vast to list. Suffice to say I loved my first trip to the 'US of A' and it will definitely not be the last.
