GoGo Getaway

is in full swing, well not right now as most folks are sensibly tucked up in bed getting the necessary sleep for the next busy day. Which is exactly what I'm gonna do now.

I can't quite believe

it's only 3 more sleeps until GoGo Getaway. The challenge is for everyone to pack light, I don't normally do light, so I have plans to get started today that way I might be finished by Friday! My class LO is all done and pack so that's a good start!!!!!

I've had my monthly

dose of Wyverstone therapy and now all is well with the world, well nearly. I had an absolutely blast of a day, there was lots of chatted and laughed like I haven't in ages. There was also a fair bit of tea drinking and pecan pie eating ummmmmmmmm - thanks to Sharon's mum. Plus I even managed a little scrapping.

In sad news my XXL glass cutting mat is no more - it went all to pieces, literately but I have a plan!

Why is that

whenever you take anything apart/put it back together there's alway something left over?
We've had a bit of a computer rejig as a result of me changing over to a Mac, having recabled both machines and all the various peripherals I have 1 lonely cable with no home! Hope it's not vital.
November's ScrapaGoGo kit arrived and I'm planning to play today.

After several days

of feeling sorry for myself I'm finally feeling nearly back to normal.
I don't have any scrapping deadlines and my scrapping table is complete clear as I had a massive tidy up on Sunday so I'm planning to do a couple of pre Getaway challenges tomorrow, might even set one.

With all around me

snuffly, snotty and sneezing it was almost inevitable that I would end up with something.  So as the day progressed and I started to feel a lot less than great I knew my day of reckoning had arrived.

I have deadline looming and haven't got time to be ill so I'm hoping that 'Day Nurse' will keep me going.

Is it wrong to have

chocolate birthday cake with your early morning cuppa tea?

I didn't think so either so that's what I had this morning. Thanks go to my guy who's an early morning person.

The birthday

girl got tea in bed, opened cards and presents. Was whisked off to see Surrogates at the cinema before a little birthday shopping, didn't find a coat or boots but did find a lovely note book at Papercase.

And what birthday would be complete with a tasty take away for tea. Shame there was no room for birthday cake.

Friday evening

is all about the weekly shopping but for a girl about to celebrate her birthday she get a get out of jail card. I did have a say in what went on the shopping list yay.

On Wednesday

it looked like that 'operation imac' was hold but in a twist of fate it all turned out OK. My imac has be nick named 'Master Mac' and is up and running very nicely :) The process of transferring data is no where near done, in fact it's still in the deciding phase.

Our evening here at the Froize was very tasty, it was a special evening called Tastes of Suffolk and was part of the Aldeburgh Food Festival. Just wish I'd exercised a little more restraint.

Yesterday

Hazel and got a little pampering, thanks to a voucher from Mum & Dad for Christmas, no not an early Christmas pressie just very late in using last years Christmas pressie!  Ufford Park Spa was the venure and the end result was these gorgeous little piggies, lets hope the weather stays warm enough to keep them on show for a little longer.
