Small

but perfectly formed.

The little mini book that was my class for our National Scrapping Day crop at Create & Co. Our first Create & Co crop got the thumbs up and we're now looking forward to the next one.

Mmmmmmmmmm........

chocolate crunch.
Do you remember having chocolate crunch with chocolate sauce for school lunch? Yep me to, so when I came across the recipe I just had to make some and I have to say they're every bit as tasty today as they were back in the day and really easy to make.

Picture

to make you go arrrrrh.

It's not that Charlie and Missy don't get along, it just for the most part they kinda respect each others space, so these shots don't come along that often.

The weather

was shocking this weekend but although it put pay to my plans to take some photos of the bluebells at  Hill House Woods it did give me the opportunity to scrapbook.
So I have had the most wonderful weekend scrapping to my heart's content. I can't share anything I created this weekend and although I could show you the trail of devastation that my scrapbooking has left on my craft table/room but it's nothing you haven't seen before. So instead I have my May ScrapaGoGo LOs to share, altogether prettier to look at.

Wanna play a game

of spot the difference.

I know not really a very challenging game of spot the difference!

The reason for this post is to document the grand ceremonial putting away of the iron and ironing board which given that I do a LOT of ironing unfortunately doesn't happen as often as I'd like. I know, I know I'm in control of these matters it's just it doesn't always happen but I'm making an effort to live in a home that I'm proud of.

Most impressed

with these flowers, brought from of all places Asda last Friday and still going strong including the gerbera which have a tendency to wilt fairly quickly.

I'd love to say they were a gesture of love from the other half but alas he doesn't really do buying flowers so they're from me to me, well a girls gotta treat herself sometimes.

If the hype was to be believed

it had to be done, so on Sunday evening we final got to watch Avatar. Although I was aware of all the hype and the fact it had won an Oscar or two, I really didn't have a clue what the film was about. John reckoned that a review had described it as like Pocahontas but in space and having now watched the film I think it's a pretty apt description.

In fact we enjoyed it enough to want to watch it again the next evening.

What do you do

on a wet Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend?
Why you spring clean and do a whole change around of Her bedroom.
The room itself is the a decent size but it's north facing and only has a small window at one end of the room, the opposite end to where her desk and bed have alway been! So in a light bulb moment I figured it was time for a change and although I can't say I enjoyed the process, the results make it so worth it.
It even got the thumbs up.
