Getting a fix

of R Patz, well with a Wednesday off it would be rude not to do an Orange Wednesday with my girl who's home for the holidays.

I was gonna take a picture of Santa who's making some extra pennies driving a bus but I wasn't allowed!!!!!

Love the Christmas decorations in town, really pretty.

Shame the photos don't do them justice.

Sometime we scrap,

and sometime we watch a film but this evening I got on with a little sewing project whilst Karen made more Christmas cards.

Love our Thursday evenings.

Where's the best place

for a little pre Christmas get together? Why Morrison's of course!

Actually all joking aside, Janice, Lorraine, Nicola, Zoe and myself enjoyed some lovely food, the company was great and the price well that was way less than a tenner.

I just has to be done

and putting it off is no good. So 'him & me' got our Christmas cards written this evening and they're  now ready to pop in the post tomorrow.

Job done, well except for the few that I need to make.

I did have a little

They're definitely worth a look see cause if you love the kits but you've been feeling the pinch there's exciting news that you'll want to know about.

So what are you waiting for? Go check it out here.

How lucky

am I?

My morning, wake up cuppa tea bought to me by hubby. I've done the whole alarm clock wake up malarkey but it's not nice, especially when you're more of a night owl than a morning bird.

I'm thinking of getting

a facelift! No not me silly, my blog which is looking tired and dated. Not that it was ever what you'd call exciting, it's just served it's purpose but now I'm ready for a change. However I don't have a lot of time to throw at this so I'm hoping for suggestions, what's your favourite site for blog templates (based on both looks & easy of use) & any great blog designers.

Hello Monday

Monday morning can mean only one thing I really must get myself sorted and off to work.

Am I the only

scrapper to suffer from the dilemma of crop days? Let me explain briefly. I love going to crops, I mean what could be better than spending the day in the company of like minded people/friends doing what you love BUT I'm often dissatisfied with what I've achieved. If I put my mind to it, put pages kits together then put my head down and scrapped I could get a few LOs done BUT what fun would that be? I do know that the answer lies in finding a balance between the social side of a crop and achieving enough to not go home dissatisfied but I haven't managed it yet. So what's the right balance for you?

I did enjoy a very social crop day at Electic Keepsakes, it was their Christmas Extravaganza yesterday.

Scrap, Chat, Eat and Be Merry.
Surprisingly enough I came home tired but content with my days achievements having got two classes completed and the third to a stage that it can be finished at home.

Having an idea

doesn't always translate into a good photo and that's definitely the case with my creative/festive self portrait for 12 Days of Christmas

Dear Father Christmas
It was quite a performance getting the assignment done, involving my trusty tripod and oh so useful remote shutter release. Rubbish photo but check out how I took the photo and yep that is by new camera perched up there.

I'm out tomorrow so I'm attempting to be a bit organised but it's not working out too well. Nothing new there.

P.S. Sheena we had bacon cheese burger and broccoli for tea and strawberries & cream for dessert yum yum

Who knew that finding

a 'santa hat' would prove so tricky!!!
Firstly I thought we had more an one 'santa hat' but it would appear that I was deluding myself, the only one we did have was Hannah's and she took it with her to Uni. However I didn't let that deter me, no I traipsed around town and eventually found a budget £1 'santa hat that wasn't very nice in fact it's pretty cheap andy nasty looking. Then disappointed with my first find I checked out more shops and eventually found a deluxe hat, not great but OK and the deluxe price? 99 pence go figure! So now we have two santa hats in the house.

My evening was happily spend in the company of this lovely lady, we chatted, drank tea and go on with what we wanted to get on with, for me that was a little sewing project I have on the go at the moment and Karen was wisely sorting photos for crop day on Saturday

In fact Thursday evenings with Karen have become a bit of a habit and very nice habit it is to.
