and this is what I came up with given that Him & Me don't really do New Years Eve celebrations.

Had to delve deep into my stash of old photos to find these!

Only 2 more sleeps until crop day so I'd best get something packed to do or I'll be twiddling my fingers for the day and it's a looooooooooooooooooong day.

I think

I'm in love! No I'm not taking about Him, that goes without saying. I mean ScrapaGoGo kit love and more specifically February's kit.

I know that the word gets used a lot but without a word of a lie this kit is Lush to the Max, totally gorgeous and has the most perfect name 'Happiness is ........ ' 

Well happiness is certainly the option to 'Double Up' so there'll be no more trying to decide which side of the paper you want to use, just Double Up and you can use both.

The deadline for uploading my favourite six photos from 12 Days of Christmas workshop was today at 6pm and I'm happy to report that I made the deadline. No mean feat for someone who dithers and can't decide!

I'm sure some of the photos I took during the workshop will be appearing on scrapbook LOs at some point in the future including my 'festive' self portrait that I'm still really pleased with.

Taking more photos is something that I hope to do more of in 2011 and I may even indulge in another workshop. 

On Tuesday I got a

little excited.
I know its wrong or at least a little sad to be excited about what's in this massive box ...............

but I really don't care cause it's all mine ...............

and I can get excited if I want to right?

It's fab but no it won't make tea!!!!

came the call from downstairs, you know that tone when you can be sure it's not going to be good news and true to form it wasn't good news.

Ceramic snowman meets tiled hearth and snowman definitely came off worse. 

It was however an accident and as I love that snowman I dug out the glossy accents in the absence of super glue (note to self must get super glue in) and set to work ...........

The results are a lot less than perfect but from a distance and for the amount of time they're out of the box for it isn't gonna matter.

I like a happy ending.

We have two

shiny clean hounds in the house and bath full of towels to show for it.

 It was so worth it as both Charlie and Missy's coats are gleaming.

Shame that dog shampoo doesn't smell better cause after the effort of getting to our two greyhounds in and out of the bath it'd be great if they smelt as good as they looked. Oh well can't have everything or can you? Maybe a little research is needed.
