I haven't been

happy with my hair cut for a while, so today in a moment of madness I say to Charlotte (my hairdresser for many years) 'cut it all off' whilst showing her a picture of a rather stylish short hair cut. So whilst she distracts me with idol chit chat she goes ahead and starts snipping away, so when I next notice it's all too late.

I keep trying to reassure myself that I'll grow to like it or my hair will grow, the jury's out on which will come first!

It was Her day

today, yep my girl celebrated her 17th birthday.

Her hearts desire was for a new mobile and given that she now uses her mobile a fair amount a contract phone seemed like the best idea which is where Him and Me figure in the picture. The phone was chosen

but a technical hitch prevented her from having it on her actual birthday. Except I really wanted to surprise her and have it for on her actual birthday, so that's what I did.

The other surprise of the day was the 'spagetthi and meat ball' cupcake birthday made and delivered by our BFFs Karen and Gracia together with a little something for her to unwrap.

I woke up

this morning a little confused, I couldn't work out what day it was and as I had half a mind that it was Saturday was bitterly disappointed to find out from DH that it was still only Friday.

The positive side to it still only being Friday is that I haven't missed the start to Channel Five's new session of Grey Anathomy that I've been waiting an age to return to terrestial television.

Wednesday didn't

turn out as I had expected, not all bad just not how I had expected it to go! Starting with work and ending with a failed trip to the cinema plus issues with HM Revenue & Customs just for good measure.
Today however I received one of these,

and I didn't know anything about it's arrival until I nearly tripped over it as I left the house to get this lot.

Having packed this lot away I sadly I only had time for a quick stroke (all I can say is it's lush) before heading off to see my friend Karen

who I spent the afternoon cutting and sticking with and do you know what I got a couple of LOs put together and 'I'm liking them a lot'.

I got mail,

not just any mail no, Happy Mail. 

A very restrained order of scrapping goodies cause I really don't need anything but who can resist free P&P when they have the Prima gorgeousness that you've been lusting after?

Plus a Canon Selphy cartridge that I only ordered yesterday afternoon from Amazon, HelpDeskIT had this cartridge for 16p cheaper but as a Prime account holder Amazon's turn around is amazing.

Now I need to go and do a bit of clearing up so that Karen has enough space when she come to play this afternoon.

Tuesday's turning out to be a good day.

A Monday

at home is a little unusual as it's normally a busy work day for me however I'm not complaining.

After a rather lovely lazy lie in I've filled my day with a little internet surfing, some blog hopped plus have even done a little cutting and sticking.

Spring Clean!

GoGo style of course is what I have planned for tomorrow and for once I have photos printed and bags packed. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us although looking at the sneak peeks it all look lush.

Extreme

Mum Taxi  -no not the 40 mile/ 1 hour plus round trip but the pick up time of 01.00! The 'sat nag' is set up cause I haven't a clue where I'm going, so I'm good to go.

I picked up my camera this morning, I figured that the only way to find out whether it still has a problem is to get taking some photos. Its seems to be shooting OK but I'm reserving judgement until I had more of a chance to play but boy did it feel good to have my babe back.

It should be

good news given that I won't have to folk out the £100 odd quid they quoted for the camera repair but as they couldn't find any fault 'after extensive testing' as they put it I'm slightly concerned that I'm gonna still have a camera that doesn't work properly.

So here's hoping, against all hope that I can fall in love all over again with my fully functioning Nikon D70, certainly the best camera I've ever owned.
